After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, our guide/driver will be ready to pick you up at 8:00 am and begin to drive to Tarangire National packed lunch box. approximately of 2 hours to the driver, Once upon arrival, take extensive wild game viewing, gaining chances of viewing lions, herds of elephant, cheetahs, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, the dry country antelopes such as long-necked gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx which are rare. Experience further the beautiful landscapes of Tarangire including the Tarangire River which is the centerpiece of this park being famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. The swamps are shared by flocks of bids; green wood hoopoes, lovebirds, tallish herons, white-bellied go-away birds, and giant kingfishers. On drier ground, you will find the Kori bustard and the ostrich. Around 1:30 up to 2:00 you will have your lunch at Silale swamp picnic site after you will have a short game drive and around 4:00 up to 5:00 depending on the day you will be heading to Lake Manyara Luxury Safari Camp
Early in the morning, you will start the safari passing Lake Manyara with the most iconic view of the lake our guide will stop there and you have 3 to 5 minutes to take pictures and proceed to Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. Ngorongoro crater is one of the only places on earth where mankind and wild animals co-exist in harmony. Descending 600 meters down to the crater with a 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. The crater floor is home to numerous plains game that feed on the short grasses. Wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, buffalo, and hartebeest can all be found roaming through the plains of the crater. The crater also has the largest known population of lions and you will also find leopards and cheetahs as well as scavengers such as spotted hyenas, jackals, and rare wild dogs. Other wildlife such as giant tusked elephants, the endangered black rhino, waterbuck, and bushbuck can be found in the swamplands. Post the picnic lunch, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater and return back to Arusha at Natron Place Hotel / if your departure we will pick up you at the airport.
