Jambo! Welcome to Tanzania. Today, you will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Upon landing, our enthusiastic representative will be waiting for you. They will pick you up and take you directly to Malkia Tree Lodge for rest, allowing you to begin immersing yourself in the African atmosphere. The drive from the airport to Arusha will take approximately 1 hour. You will be accommodated at Malkia Tree Lodge or a similar lodge. Additionally, with this package, you have the option to request the specific lodge or hotel where you’d like to stay.
After your breakfast at 08.30 drive from Arusha with your packed lunch to Manyara park for game viewing. At 1300 hrs take your lunch in the park picnic area, evening drive to your lodge/ campsite for Dinner and overnight at Manyara then drive to Lake Eyasi for dinner and Overnight.
Wake up early for a pre-sunrise breakfast. Drive from the camp for approx. 20 minutes to locate the nomadic Bushmen (Hadzabe). In the company of the bushmen, you will hunt on foot using traditional weapons i.e. bows and arrows, the Bushmen are related to the Kalahari Bushmen of South Africa. They speak the same click language but do not understand each other, as they have been apart for very long. The Bushmen live a medieval kind of lifestyle. They do not build permanent homes but follow the animals in the area as they trap and kill them for food. They are hunters and gatherers. After a brief hunting stint with the Bushmen, we go back to our vehicles and drive to the camp for lunch. After a short afternoon siesta, we depart the camp at 04:30P and drive to lake Eyasi to view flamingoes and enjoy the sunset over the Rift Valley Escarpment.
In the morning transfer from Lake Eyasi to Ngorongoro crater for a full day of game viewing, and picnic lunch at Lerai forest in the crater. Evening, from the crater, drive for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, start walking into Olmot crater half day, lunch Nainokanoka, after lunch drive to Gulatti then start walking to Empakai through Maasai Villages, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, walk in a forest. Hike down from the east rim of the crater floor lake, where huge flocks of flamingos breed. Lunch at Empakai, after lunch, walk along the rim of Empakai to Nairobi village. Donkeys are one of the porter’s dinners and overnight, Nairobi.
After breakfast, walk to the foot of Oldonyo Lengai where you will camp overnight, After reaching at your camp.
Then night birds climb up the hill through the steep slopes. The mountain of God, hence the name of the mountain in the Maasai language is a Volcanic mountain that is still active. Then back to the camp for breakfast, then drive to Arusha for your overnight at your Hotel.
