After having breakfast at 7:00 am at your lodge, our local Maasai warrior guide will be there to pick you up and head to a Maasai village known as Oltukai Village, An authentic Maasai Villagelocated between Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park. The journey will take a maximum of 2 and a half hours. Upon arriving in the village, moms and warriors will welcome you with dancing, songs, and happy smiles. They will dress you like them and invite you to join dancing with them. Keep in mind that once you land in the Maasai community, you are no longer a guest; they consider you a friend and they will invite you to participate in their daily activities. You will join them in different duties, such as fetching water and collecting firewood as women’s duties, You will also help herd livestock to the pasture areas and the watering place. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to join the kids in our School Project. After a full day of activities, you will be able to return to Arusha at your lodge.
NB: Please note that the pictures you take in the village with the community are not allowed for any exhibition, unless otherwise you have permission from the community Or us. Also we also advised everyone to show respect for the community at the village
