ITINERARY

Day 1

Arrival in Arusha – Pre-Safari Relaxation

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take the day to rest and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, optional excursions such as a coffee plantation visit or Arusha city tour can be arranged.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). Explore this scenic park known for its ancient baobabs, seasonal swamps, and large elephant herds. Enjoy game drives and a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing to the Karatu highlands near Lake Manyara for the overnight.

Day 3

Karatu – Central Serengeti (Seronera)

After breakfast, drive via the Ngorongoro Highlands into Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game viewing en route through Naabi Hill and into the famous Seronera Valley, home to resident predators, giraffes, elephants, and wildebeest herds. Arrive at your Serengeti lodge in the afternoon.

Day 4

Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, journey north through the Serengeti and enjoy a full-day game drive. The Northern Serengeti is famed for its rugged terrain and the Mara River crossings during the migration (July–October). Arrive at your camp in the late afternoon and enjoy the tranquillity of this remote region.

Day 5

Northern Serengeti – Central Serengeti

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti before travelling south to the Central Serengeti. Along the way, enjoy a scenic game drive across the endless plains, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of other wildlife.

Arrive in the Central Serengeti in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay at your camp.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha / Departure

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive, offering one last opportunity to spot the Big Five and other incredible wildlife in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After a picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha, where you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onwards flight.
