Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After a relaxed breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your private guide will meet you for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems and home to some of Africa’s largest elephant herds.

Begin your first game drive as you explore the park’s breathtaking landscapes, dotted with ancient baobab trees, rolling savannahs, and the life-giving Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and a remarkable variety of birdlife that thrives in this diverse ecosystem.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before continuing your afternoon game drive, taking in the incredible wildlife and stunning scenery. As the sun begins to set, head to your luxury lodge or tented camp to relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and prepare for the adventures ahead.
