Founder of Kipe Adventure

Jambo and welcome to Kipe Adventure.

My name is Kipelyani Olesisian, though most people know me simply as Kipe or Lekulek.

I was born and raised in Oltukai Village, within the Kwakuchinja Wildlife Corridor between Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. Growing up surrounded by wildlife, nature, and Maasai traditions shaped the person I am today and inspired my lifelong passion for conservation, culture, and community.

Life in Maasai land taught me the importance of living in harmony with nature, respecting traditions, and protecting the environment for future generations. These values continue to guide everything we do at Kipe Adventure.

My tourism journey began as a young Maasai warrior with a dream of sharing my homeland with the world. Over the years, I worked as a porter on Mount Kilimanjaro, became a safari guide, and eventually founded Kipe Adventure—one of the few 100% Maasai-owned safari companies in Tanzania.

Kipe Adventure is more than a safari company. It is a reflection of our way of life, built around authentic experiences, responsible travel, conservation, and meaningful cultural connection.

Through safaris, walking adventures, and community experiences, we invite travellers to experience Tanzania not only through its wildlife and landscapes but also through its people, traditions, and stories.

Beyond tourism, I am deeply committed to community development through the Oltukai Community Development Organisation (OCDO), supporting initiatives focused on education, women’s empowerment, youth development, conservation, and creating better opportunities for future generations.
